Co-curricular Activities

Academic studies and co-curricular activities are given equal importance in our school. The school provides ample opportunities to participate in debate competition, dance programme, symposium, singing, drawing, painting and various sports and games. Opportunities are provided for inter school and inter state competitions. A highly qualified group of staff with total dedication & commitment for the welfare of the children are deputed to supervise the progress of the children and facilitate the progress of learning at St. Joseph’s School.

The school provides ample opportunities to develop the talents of the students and form themselves into individuals of integrated personalities. The students encouraged to take membership in different clubs like Arts Club, Sports Club, Science Club and Literary Association. They are motivated to participate in various co-curricular competitions like elocution, quiz, extempore, debate, declamation, art & craft exhibition, science projects, creative story writing, calligraphy, poem composing and recitation, article writing, essay writing, drawing and painting, poster making, cooking, table setting, bouquet making, preparation of notice board, vocal & instrumental music etc. through the above clubs. The students also participate in various sports activities like football, volleyball, basketball, Kho-Kho, cricket and various athletic events. The school has a well trained group of teachers for arts & crafts, drawing, music, dance and physical education.

The school sincerely believes that it is through all these diverse activities/hobbies the latent potentialities of a child are discovered, encouraged and fine-tuned.

Celebrations

The school celebrates with priority Principal’s day, Director’s day, Teacher’s day, Christmas, Independence Day and Republic day. Various platforms are available to the pupils to nurture and develop latent potentialities so as to implore their creativity and talents.
