Set up and functioning under the patronage of the Catholic Diocese of Nichlaul, the school is a minority institution conferred with all the privileges and prerogatives as available under the Constitution of India. Though the school is primarily established for the educational needs of Christian minority children, it is equally open for other children as well irrespective of any difference or discrimination of caste, creed, culture, religion, region or language with all freedom to pursue their respective faiths without any let or hindrance but subject to eligibility and availability of vacancy. The aim of the School is to impart quality education designed for the all- round development of the child. The students will be taught and prepared for their future duties by a careful cultivation of their minds and hearts. They will be enlightened and ignited intellectually, morally, ethically, socially, professionally and spiritually. To be true to its motto special emphasis is given for the practice of natural virtues like respect for elders, truthfulness, honesty, politeness, simplicity, self discipline and orderliness in true spirit of patriotism and Divine Wisdom.

Medium of Instruction

The medium of instruction is English and the method of study is in accordance with the scheme laid down by the Council for the Primary, Secondary and the Higher Secondary stages as approved by the Council. Special importance is given to English, including spoken English, for which a high standard is maintained. Hindi as a national language and Punjabi as the regional language are taught from Pre-Primary level with priority.
